Postfix mit MySQL

Hallo Experten,

ich verzweifle langsam an einem Problem mit Postfix und Mysql. In der Datei
/var/log/mail.log tritt ständig folgende Meldng auf:

Aug 6 18:47:14 localhost postfix/trivial-rewrite[1528]: warning: connect to
mysql server 192.168.1.99: Access denied for user: ''postfix'@debian' (Using
password: YES)
Aug 6 18:47:14 localhost postfix/trivial-rewrite[1528]: fatal:
mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql-virtual_forwardings.cf(0,100): table lookup problem


Postfix kommt also nicht auf die Datenbank. In der Datei hosts ist der
Hostname debian und die Ip-Adresse 192.168.1.99 eingetragen. Der MySQL
Server läuft.


Folgenden Hinweis habe ich bereits gefunden:

Postfix runs in a chroot directory (/var/spool/postfix) and cannot access
any files outside that directory. So you can use TCP networking. The latter
means you are talking to MySQL through your network stack. To enable TCP
networking just comment out the line "skip-networking" from your
/etc/mysql/my.cnf file and restart MySQL.

Dies habe ich befolgt, aber leider komme ich immernoch nicht auf die
Datenbank. Komischerweise funktioniert das hier einwandfrei:

mysql -h debian -u postfix -p

Hat jemand eine Idee woran das liegen kann?

Zum beseren Verständis:
Server IP Adresse 192.168.1.99
Hostname:        debian
