Ja.

1) Kernel Bootet nicht.
2) Dir fehlen jegliche Fehlermeldungen.
3) In der Kernel-Boot-Zeile steht so ein komisches Wort. "quiet"

Ich kenn mich jetzt *NICHT* mit grub aus, aber da würde *ich* versuchen 
ansetzten um zumindest Fehlermeldungen zu bekommen.

Wenn Dir das nicht hilft, der nächste Tipp steht ganz am Ende der eMail.
